Titlebar Button Idea

Canonical's Mark Shuttleworth decided switch around the button order on the titlebar and because it frees up space on the left side for interesting ideas. Lots of ideas have been submitted, and this is mine.

I would like to use the titlebar to change the volume of a specific app, like Totem, VLC, Skype, or Firefox, instead of moving the cursor up to the panel, right-clicking the volume applet, going to Sound Preferences > Applications, and then changing the volume. For changing the volume from the titlebar, you would be able to use the scrollwheel on the volume icon to change the volume, or click and change the volume using a slider.
